Intensive Support Mental Health Crisis Support for NDIS provides specialised Mental Health Crisis Support for NDIS participants living with psychosocial disability who are experiencing a mental health crisis or significant deterioration in their wellbeing.

SUPPORT WORKERS

Intensive Support Crisis Support Workers provide practical, compassionate and recovery-focused support to help participants regain stability, improve wellbeing and remain safely connected to their homes and communities. The crisis support workers provide immediate, practical support to assist participants through these difficult periods.

GOAL

Our goal is to help people, stay safe during a mental health crisis, reduce emotional distress, strengthen coping strategies, maintain independence, and prevent unnecessary hospital admissions where appropriate.

HELP

Intensive Support Mental Health Crisis Support is tailored to each participant’s individual needs and NDIS goals. Services may include Emotional Support, Crisis Planning, Practical Support, Community Participation and Coordination with Other Supports. Together we create a coordinated approach that supports recovery and helps participants achieve their goals.

RECOVERY-FOCUSED

We believe recovery is possible for everyone. Intensive Support is person-centred, recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and respectful of participant choice and control. Rather than doing things for people, we work alongside them to build confidence, skills and resilience.

ACCESS

This service is suitable for NDIS participants with psychosocial disability who may experience, severe and persistent mental illness and co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges.
