ADHD COACH
Many children and young people with ADHD experience a range of challenging behaviours, including emotional explosions, extreme frustration, chronic inflexibility, impulsivity, and oppositional defiance.
THE SERVICE
In response to these behaviours, the ADHD COACH supports children and young people with ADHD to develop crucial skills for lifelong challenges and everyday success.
ADHD Coaching focuses on strategies to reduce extreme frustration, improve adaptive flexibility, and collaboratively solve problems. Additionally, the ADHD COACH teaches executive functioning skills—such as cognitive flexibility, organisation, and working memory—to strengthen emotional regulation.
The ADHD COACH helps children and young people with ADHD improve attention, manage hyperactivity, and plan for change. Coaching also promotes clear communication, builds self-awareness, and encourages the discovery of personal strengths and talents. It also reinforces healthy habits in sleep, exercise, and nutrition while connecting individuals to appropriate supports and resources.
