ADHD COACH
ADHD CHALLENGES
Many children and young people with ADHD experience challenges with flexibility, frustration tolerance, and problem-solving. These difficulties can contribute to impulsive behaviour, defiance, and opposition.
ADHD COACH
In response to the challenges, the ADHD Coach supports children and young people with ADHD to develop practical skills and habits for everyday success. Coaching focuses on improving executive functioning, maintaining routines, and staying organised.
The ADHD Coach helps clients understand instructions, manage distractions, and plan for consequences. Coaching also promotes clear communication, builds self-awareness, and encourages the discovery of personal strengths and talents. In addition, it reinforces healthy habits around sleep, exercise, and nutrition while connecting individuals to appropriate supports and resources.
INTENSIVE SUPPORT
Intensive Support engages certified ADHD Coaches who are highly experienced in mentoring and supporting children and young people in child protection and out-of-home care with ADHD. Intensive Support provides a comprehensive range of Casework Support Scheme (CSS) Services and can respond promptly and effectively — including urgent or complex referrals.
